Nobody gave you the job. You are just the one who worked out the printer once, and now every question comes to you.
Or there is, and they answer two days later. One number, and somebody who picks it up, is most of what people are buying.
Nobody publishes prices, so there is nothing to compare with. We will tell you what we charge and what moves it, before you ask us to quote.
You should not have to know what any of it is called to get an answer you can act on. If we cannot explain it plainly, that is our problem, not yours.
They set everything up, then stopped answering, and nobody knows the passwords. It is recoverable, and it is the first thing we sort out.
Backups nobody has tested, security software nobody checks, accounts of people who left last year. Quiet worries, and all of them checkable.
IT Support Bury St Edmunds provides managed support for Windows PCs, laptops and Microsoft 365 to businesses across Bury St Edmunds and the neighbouring villages.
We do not offer Apple Mac support. Everything we do is focused on the Windows and Microsoft 365 environment, and that focus means we are better at it than a provider trying to cover every platform and technology at once.
Running a business with ageing or poorly maintained computers costs more in lost time than most owners realise. A machine that takes ten minutes to start up, or a Microsoft 365 account that stops syncing without warning, chips away at productivity every single day. Managed support means someone is keeping an eye on these things before they become a crisis.
A common problem for small businesses is neglected Windows updates and security patches. Machines that are not kept current are significantly more vulnerable to ransomware and data loss.
Microsoft ended mainstream support for Windows 10 in October 2025. Businesses still running Windows 10 on hardware that cannot be upgraded to Windows 11 are now using an operating system that will no longer receive security patches, which is a real risk worth addressing promptly. If you are unsure whether your machines are affected, call us on 01284 335592 and we can talk it through.
All our contracts are billed per computer per month and exclude VAT. There are two managed contract options and a pay-as-you-go block alternative for businesses that prefer not to commit to a monthly arrangement.
Unlimited remote support and phone support, with updates, backups and security monitoring included. On-site visits are charged separately at a £60 call-out fee plus labour. Prices per computer per month:
Everything in Business Essentials, with on-site labour and call-out costs included in the monthly price. This is the right option if you want total cost predictability. Prices per computer per month:
If a rolling contract does not suit your business, we offer pre-paid blocks of support time. Prices exclude VAT:
Ask us when you call.
We also provide a managed email service for businesses that want their email infrastructure looked after alongside their devices. Pricing for this is quoted on request - call 01284 335592 or email [email protected] for details.
Where a visit is needed, we will tell you the likely cost before we come out.
Routine monitoring runs in the background on all supported machines, which means we can often identify a problem - a failing hard drive, a backup that has stopped working, a security alert - before it causes damage. This is not something we switch on when you ask for it; it is part of every support option we offer.
We support businesses in Bury St Edmunds itself and in the surrounding area, including Thurston, Horringer, Barrow, Fornham All Saints, Flempton, Risby, Little Saxham, Great Saxham, Chevington and Chedburgh. If you are based in a nearby village not listed here, call us and we will let you know whether we cover your location.
Suffolk businesses face the same IT challenges as anywhere else: hardware that outlives its usefulness, software licences that lapse unnoticed, and staff who lose hours to problems that could have been prevented. We are here to deal with all of that, straightforwardly and at a known cost.
To find out which support option suits your business, call us on 01284 335592 or email [email protected]. We will ask a few straightforward questions about your setup and give you a clear answer about what would work and what it would cost.
How it works
Tell us roughly how many computers there are and what is going wrong. No jargon needed at any point.
A short review of the machines, the email and the backups, so anything we quote is based on what is there rather than a guess.
What each level covers, what it costs a month, and what is not included. Plain English, so you can compare it with what you pay now.
Accounts and licences into your name, everything written down, and a number that gets answered from day one.
Feedback
The business machines supplied our company new laptops, with full IT support with them and Office 365 which they also manage. We have also got their managed Eset security which is a must. There prices are amazing and there professional staff are second to none. Josh has been amazing throught our IT migration and we couldn't be happier. We have also brought our laser printers from them now also at amazing prices. We will not be going anywhere else and fully recommend you all to let TBM look after all your IT requirements. Thanks again. Mark
The team at TBM have been excellent in helping me buy a laptop to suit my needs. Josh was fantastic at explaining the technical side of things. He listened to what I needed and then showed me computer options along with explaining the pros and cons for each. In less than a week they had me set up with my new system and offer support moving forwards with anything I need. A very fair price (better than high street retailers) along with outstanding customer service. Thank you very much TBM team!
Steve and the team at TBM could not be more accomodating or helpful, offering a prompt five star service.
I have been a customer with TBM for many years. I have a support contract for my IT and an OKI printer. TBM’s service is always very prompt and helpful. For instance, when I needed a new printer, they did a thorough assessment of my printing needs for the business and recommended a machine that, though more expensive than I would usually buy, has worked out cheaper because of the lower running costs, print quality and reliability of the machine. Today, I emailed their sales department to order a toner cartridge for my printer at around 9.25 a.m. this morning and it was delivered by 12.00 midday today and they also took away an old cartridge to be recycled. Any computer issues I have had have been resolved quickly at times that fit around the appointment times in my business day enabling me to focus on providing great customer service to my clients. I thoroughly recommend TBM for the quality of their business machines service.
I have used TBM now a few times for various different IT jobs, including support, printer ink, purchasing a new laptop, and phone repairs. I have dealt with Josh and David. I have to say I have found the service to be excellent, very good communication, speed and efficiency, and good honest advice! Thanks TBM, I will now not go anywhere else! Mark

About us
IT Support Bury St Edmunds has been helping local businesses keep their computers running since 1990. We work exclusively with Windows PCs, laptops and Microsoft 365, so every business we support gets focused, practical help rather than a generalist fix-anything approach. Our roots are firmly in Bury St Edmunds and the surrounding villages.
What sets us apart is straightforward pricing and a support model built around the way small and medium-sized businesses actually work. Our managed support contracts are priced per computer, not per user, so you always know exactly what you are paying for. We offer two contract tiers and a pay-as-you-go block option, meaning you can choose the level of cover that fits your business without being pushed into something bigger than you need.
